At mulk, we believe good design is more than a trend—it’s a way to live with intention. We are a small Norwegian studio driven by curiosity and a deep respect for the planet. Every idea, every prototype, every finished piece is created in-house by us. Nothing is outsourced, because we want to stay close to the process and to the people who bring our work into their homes.
A Personal Approach
Being small is our strength. It allows us to listen, to experiment, and to shape products that feel personal rather than mass-produced. Each lamp or object is made to order, so we create only what’s needed—never more.
Design with a Light Footprint
Our materials are chosen with care. We 3D-print using recycled or plant-based filaments like PLA and PETG, giving form to pieces that are both durable and gentle on the environment. This method keeps waste low and energy use efficient, helping us leave as little trace as possible while still crafting something lasting.
Modern Tools, Timeless Values
Technology lets us work with precision, but our philosophy is rooted in traditional craftsmanship: patience, honesty, and quality over quantity. We aim to design objects that feel calm and enduring, pieces that quietly enrich everyday life rather than compete for attention.
Our Goal
We want mulk to stand as an alternative to fast design. By blending Scandinavian minimalism with responsible production, we create lighting and objects that people can cherish for years—beautiful, functional, and kind to the earth.
Whether it’s a sculptural lamp like Sera or the next idea waiting on our workbench, our mission stays the same: to craft meaningful design with the smallest possible environmental footprint, made entirely by us, for you.
